About Stephen C. Frohwein, MD

Dr. Frohwein received his medical degree in 1988 from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, where he remained for his internal medicine residency. After completing a cardiology fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in 1993, he concentrated on a clinical cardiovascular practice and specialized in cardiovascular imaging, specifically cardiovascular ultrasound, MRI and computed-tomographic imaging (CT).

At Saint Joseph’s, Dr. Frohwein has continued building a strong clinical cardiovascular practice, while maintaining his reputation as an expert in the field of cardiovascular imaging. Dr. Frohwein, as a cardiovascular medical director, has been instrumental in directing several cardiovascular MRI/CT outpatient imaging centers in Atlanta.
