Our internal medicine physicians are skilled board certified physicians who work as a team to provide you with great care and keep you healthy. We specialize in women’s health, men’s health, preventive care, chronic disease, employment physicals, sports physicals and school physicals.
Cardiology
Saint Joseph’s Medical Group brings together renowned expertise in all areas of cardiovascular care to provide the best patient care and services. We equip our physicians with the latest technology to ensure that our patients have access to the most advanced, innovative tools for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. We feel it is important to establish a relationship with your physician, and the doctor you choose to see will be your primary cardiologist. 
Our full range of services include: consultative cardiology, risk factor modification, lipid disorder management, exercise stress testing, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI. Two of our physicians, Dr. Stephen Frohwein and Dr. Nicolas Chronos, focus their practice on the early detection of heart disease, with a strong commitment towards prevention and education. Another physician, Dr. Padove, specializes in obstetric cardiology.
We also offer a full range of cutting edge non-surgical treatment options such as carotid artery stenting, coronary artery stenting with state-of-the-art drug eluting stents, ablative treatment of arrhythmias, carotid, renal, and peripheral vascular angioplasty, balloon valvuloplasty for mitral and aortic heart valve disease, endovascular treatment of atherosclerosis, alcohol septal ablation for hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, and minimally invasive treatment for atrial septal defects.
We will also treat high risk cases. In fact, we welcome patients who cannot be helped in their hometown or overseas.
In addition to their dedication to providing outstanding patient care, our physicians remain on the leading edge of cardiology by participating in multinational clinical research. Dr. Frohwein serves as Medical Director of Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging at Saint Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta and Dr. Chronos, well known for directing nationally recognized research and clinical trials, serves as President of Saint Joseph’s Translational Research Institute.
